A tunnel through a building…A thousand LED-lights are embedded above & below: as you walk through, cycle through, you activate sensors that turn on lights that flock around you as you move – when someone else comes towards you, & passes you, sparkles veer off in another direction & a new swarm of fireflies emerges…

The camera view-point circles the piazza, 1 circle after another: with each circle, 1 building after another separates into a screen of pixels – each successive screen, 1 in front of the other, holds bigger & bigger pixels until, eventually, all the buildings are gradually dissolved.

The fence around a private apartment-complex is turned public. The box-like concrete base of the fence is bulged into seating; it quadruples into amphitheater down a street. The 5 slats of the fence are twisted/warped/braided: they turn into seat-backs – dividers between private-yards — wind-screens climbing the walls – a canopy at the entrance – single-seats grouped topsy-turvy to make a public square…

Like ghost-cylinders, walls of water…A maze of capsules: you slip into 1 in order to slip into another, you slip from 1 cluster of people into another, the clusters change person…

Mirrored roofs, above & below: from inside, from below, water falls both down & up — from outside, from above, there’s nothing but sky…

Lights & people, people & lights: when no one’s there, light fades in & out, light dissolves from 1 capsule to another. When people enter a capsule, that capsule glows, as long as people are inside…

The fence around the plant loops into the grounds of the plant & takes back land for the neighborhood. The glass wall of the Visitors’ Center invites the outside in & the inside out: the concrete base of the fence splits &, from inside & outside, releases waterfalls toward the glass. Outside, at the bottom of the concrete ramp, you’re inside the building but outside the wall, you sit next to a person inside; inside, at the end of the flooring walkway, you’re outside the building but inside the wall, you sit next to a person outside.
